What I don't get is how Allardyce and his appalling approach still finds apologists - it's got to be fishing as people can't be that thick, can they?

Re: Should Sam start our best 11 against Bristol City?
I'd be happy with a scrappy 1-0 win

Re: Should Sam start our best 11 against Bristol City?
Start with best 11 available and see how it goes if 4 up give a couple a run out

No reason to rest players as we don't play again until the following weekend.

Re: Should Sam start our best 11 against Bristol City?
No brainer - play best team. Safety assured, realistic chances of top 5 finish not great with utd, pool the arse and southampton to come. Best team should, I say should win. Good draw in next round and it could be our year!
Our squad isnt big enough or anywhere near ready for Europe should the unlikely european spot happen. We'd suffer greatly next season. Concentrate on the cup, we have players to return soon from injury/africans cup so our league form shouldn't suffer.

Justin, are you on a wind up, on drugs or pissed?

Re: Should Sam start our best 11 against Bristol City?
A definite yes.Bristol City will be a hard game for us and we need to play our best team to give ourselves the best chance of beating them. After the teams fantastic effort against Everton the last thing we need is to play a weakened side and go out of the cup.

Well done Hammer and Pickle, did you fink that up all by yor self?

Same as Forrest last season? Yeah, we are in exactly the same position as that.......

Takashi Miike 9:26 Mon Jan 19
Re: Should Sam start our best 11 against Bristol City?
we are one and a bit results from safety so what good reason would there be to play a similar team to the one that crumbled against forest last season? Bristol City are doing very well this season, so lets show them and the competition some respect and put out a strong team. no delusion there

White Pony 9:26 Mon Jan 19
Re: Should Sam start our best 11 against Bristol City?
All I see are some fans stating that, as we are not relegation-threatened this year, they'd like us to have a proper crack at a cup run and therefore field a strong side against BC. I think that's a perfectly reasonable opinion and there's nothing delusional or queeny about it really, is there?

I think we all realise that beating our next opponents won't mean we're at Wembley. Where has anyone actually said that?

Hammer and Pickle 9:24 Mon Jan 19

Or perhaps he didn't get a reach-around behind the bike sheds and has got the strop?

Justin R 9:23 Mon Jan 19
Re: Should Sam start our best 11 against Bristol City?
Delusional thinking that we need to put out the side that has us 7th in the top division to take on Bristol City.

Delusional to reason that winning a Forth round tie will see us at Wembley.

Delusional to think that a team playing their own semi final four days later are going to be going at us flat out.

Talking of which where's KIA ?

Pleased the lunch is in tact justin ... I had Ham and horseradish rolls today rather disappointing

Back on subject ... Let's not take any chances and play full strength

I think Justin is bored and just wants to have an argument on the internet.

Delusional for wanting our best side out to stand a better chance of progressing in the FA Cup? Blimey
